Brushless Cordless 20V Palm Orbital Sander – 81mm x 133mm, 1.5mm Orbit
This Rutlands® cordless palm orbital sander with 20V, 2.0Ah battery and 60 minute charger features a powerful, high performance and maintenance-free brushless motor, ensuring long battery run times and maximum sanding coverage per charge. Ergonomically designed, the lightweight, low profile body combined with low vibration (3.52 m/s²) and low noise (81.9 dB LpA) values, allows the tool to be used for long periods without fatigue. Supplied with an 81mm x 133mm backing pad, this palm orbit sander runs in a 1.5mm orbit, yielding consistent surface finishes for ultra fine, stain-grade sanding and finishing applications, reaching into tight corners and hard-to-reach areas, ideal for windows, door and frames.
The high performance brushless motor maintains constant speed, even under heavy load, ensuring a consistent material removal rate and finish quality throughout. The soft start motor gradually and safely builds up speed and operates between a variable speed range of 4,000 to 10,000rpm, to finely match material removal rate with chosen material or finish.
Lightweight at only 1.6kg, the sander is comfortable to use whether operated flat, vertical or overhead, and is ideal for use in complex or difficult to access areas where a power cable or dust hose would be cumbersome. The rear body dust port provides connection to the supplied fine filter dust bag or can be directly connected to a dust extractor. A centralised vacuum system, combined with the supplied net abrasive discs, allows dust-free sanding, further reducing sanding time whilst ensuring the highest quality of finish.
Supplied with the sander are four 81mm x 133mm 220 grit net abrasive sheets, 81mm x 133mm backing pad, dust collection bag, 20V, 2.0Ah battery and charger. ©
